Kolumba-The Art Museum of the Cologne Archdiocese

Unlike the name suggests, the Art Museum of the Cologne Archdiocese does not consider itself only as a religious exhibition house, but as a museum which wants to show off all forms and facets of artistic representation. The collection of “Kolumba” extends from late antiquity to the present, from medieval panel painting to postmodern “Radical Painting”. 2000 years of Western culture in a unique architectural construct.
